The mighty Autobots and Decepticons destroyed Tuesday’s box office records with more than 27.5 million in it’s first full day!

The Transformers took a total haul of 36.3 million in its first 28 hours proving that 80’s nostalgia is alive and well!

Audience reaction to the film has been solid and one can expect that the Michael Bay film will take a long week haul of around $175 million by Sunday.
Job well done to Michael Bay and team. Roll out the Sequels!
Introduced in 1984, the Transformers brand took the world by storm with its compelling saga of the Autobots versus the Decepticons. The innovative "Robots in Disguise" resulted in a tremendously successful toy line from Hasbro and Takara, comic book series, television program and an animated feature film. More than 20 years later, a new generation has discovered the excitement of the Transformers brand and its legendary characters, including the two leaders of the opposing sides: Optimus Prime and Megatron. Today, the franchise features a popular toy line, an animated series on the cartoon network and a chart-topping comic book series from IDW Publishing.

OMG!!!! We just saw the movie today and I must say it is the best movie I have ssen in a LONG time.

I was a little close for comfort, but there 10 of us and so we needed seats together.

The action was GREAT, the love story was innocent, the plot was something fairly new, but nothing of a stretch.

There was gratuitous tire burning and I loved every minute of it!

The comedy was subtle, but still hilarious.

A lil history:

I used to drive a '74 Camaro that looked, sounded and was optioned almost identical to the '76 in the movie. I had many embarassing times in mine just like the young kid did in his.....I'll stop here, so I won't spoil anything......

GREAT MOVIE!
