Ed Welburn is the man.

He's a huge car enthusiast, which makes him perfect for the position he's in.

And he has a 1969 Camaro which he regularly drives to work.

Good article. Kinda reiterates what I've thought along....GM can do whatever GM puts its mind to....it's always been able to make stellar cars, but profit margins often reigned supreme over quality (interiors, for one). I'm glad to see that they've got their act together and are putting cars on the road that people WANT to drive, rather than ones they can just AFFORD to drive with rebates, etc...

It seems here lately GM has got a lot of good reviews and some good reviews from places they have been dogged on in the past.
