I remember the first time I looked under the hood of my Camaro and thought to myself, this has got to go. See it?

You pop the cover off and remove the stud that is threaded onto a post. The cable coming in has a terminal end that is pretty much flat. The one going to the engine is a right angle. Make the 90 into a 45, take a 5/16 bolt with a lock washer and bolt the two cables together. But first slide on a 3/4 X 6" shrink tube. A little silicone spray helps slide it into place. Heat and shrink, cover with some 3/4" wire loom. I cut the cable tie on the shock tower so I can tuck the cable down toward the firewall. I still have to get some stick on wire tie anchors to fasten it with.
Then you take a nice sharp chisel and wack off the bracket. You will need to grind the spot welds smoth and touch up the area with body matching paint.
