Wonder what wheel options in store. I expect nothing larger than 20''; but I hope for 18''s. Also, to my curiousity what will fit for aftermarket. I like to see a gunmetal 5 split spoke wheel with a common lug pattern.

Thing I hope for:

1) Ability to fit 315 tires on a 18'' wheels without having to roll fenders on stock suspension. (18 x 10.5 or 11 wheel at least)

2) Deep fenderwells so with aftermarket wide wheels in the back, its doesnt make it look like something stupid from lowrider mag.

3) Stock suspension is at a good ride height like 4th gens and unlike mustangs.

I like to know everyone expectations on wheel option freedom.

If I ever see anyone riding around in a 5th gen that is lifted a good 3ft off the ground due to the wheels.....I will run them off the road..and then flog them for their stupidity.

I am hoping for about the same thing. I am also hoping for a tall tire close to 28" stock. taller tire = better traction.

I would also like to see the concept wheels available thru gmpp or something.

You mean a wider tire = better traction?
I never heard of a taller tire giving better traction....

Yes I mean taller tire. A taller tire of the same width as a shorter tire has more contact with the road. wider gives more side to side and taller gives more front to back.

I like to have HREs in black with polished lip, or a z06 wheel in gunmetal, or a gunmetal 5 spoke. I like the a tall and wide tire. 315/40/18 in a Nitto 555 or BFG KGWs

I would like to see 18s, 19s and 20s available from the factory.
Size and style dependant on model of course.

I can see a 20'' lightweight wheel on the Z28 or high-handling model and 18'' on a SS or drag oriented model. But 19'' is a odd size. Tires tend to be pricey for 19s and might as well go 20'' anyway. I will drop the car with peddlers to make 18s look better before I would put 20'' or 19'' on my car. I just never liked the look of them on dodge lx platforms even though they fit the car.
