It's not very likely the stripes will be painted on.I hope that the stripes will be painted on at the factory, the quality is not there when the dealer does it.

Me second!Anyone got a pic of "heritage hood stripes"? Is it what's on the vert?
The heritage-inspired stripes are only on the hood?.....no decklid?Yes it will. This is from chevy.com/camaro
Stripes - heritage-inspired stripes are offered in RS style for the hood or "hockey stick" style side design
Well that's a relief, that didn't make any sense to have them just on the hood.Heritage-inspired stripes are like the stripes on the Convertible concept car.
Hood and decklid.
No Camaro should ever have stripes on its roof! (IMO)
And yes, the stripes will not be painted, they'll be high quality vinyl.
I wasn't aware there was such as thing as high quality vinyl stripes. I know a guy who does vinyl designs for cars, and I don't think there's ever the intention that it will look as good for as long as paint.Heritage-inspired stripes are like the stripes on the Convertible concept car.
Hood and decklid.

Factory or Dealer installed?Heritage-inspired stripes are like the stripes on the Convertible concept car.

:rotflmao:Just wait til you hit 45....eyesight, memory, beer-drinking ability...they all start to fade!:lol:It all depends.
I believe the third gens were dealer, but I may be wrong. With that said it seems that I saw one back in 1991 on the back of a car hauler with stripes already on it.
Hell I am in my thirties now and my memory is already starting to fade.
