In the past I've owned both a modern Commodore and a Statesman, today it's mostly 2014 for me. My 2014 Z-28 gets the most attention but I have three 2014 Caprice's, all former Palo Alto Police cars, one a patrol car and two detective cars. My 2004 GTO has been my daughters car since 2008 when my first G8 arrived. I'll often mention the Holden year 2000 Engineering Report because it was the inspiration for so many Holden cars for me. My gen 5 Camaro has so far spoiled any ambition for a Gen 6 Camaro. For now, I'm satisfied with comparing the Z with the Caprice with the stroker engine from The Hot Rod Company of Green Acres, Washington, a 5.3 block 383 with HP and torque greater than the 2014 Z.
